Prof. Dr. Hans-Jürgen Scheruhn is a thought leader in enterprise modelling and information management. He has left a mark in history as the creator of the Enterprise GPS concept used all over the world.

He holds a professorship in Business Informatics at Harz University. His doctorate comes from the Technical University of Hannover, whereas his teaching and research activities are in the area of ​​ enterprise modelling and information management.

While one focus of his current work is the teaching and research at various international partner universities in English- and Spanish-speaking countries, his concepts are used all over the world.

After 4 years of coordination and development his concepts around Enterprise GPS where adapted both by the enterprise standard body LEADing Practice as well as applied to many ERP solutions e.g. SAP and Microsoft. He has personally worked in organizations like Siemens AG. There, he pushed ahead with the strategic development of UINIX systems and led numerous external IT projects with clients such as Bosch, Edeka and VW.

In particular, he was responsible for the design, implementation and operation of the Siemens IT information centers in northern Germany. During this time he also headed the VDI working group EKV. He holds a board position at LEADing Practice as well as the Global University Alliance.
